• How long will the visit last? What will happen?

  You’ll spend about 45 minutes to an hour. First, you’ll get a health evaluation, including a physical exam and other important screenings. The rest of the time you’ll spend on health topics important to you.

• Where should the visit take place?

  Wherever is most comfortable and convenient for you: the kitchen table, living room, you decide.

• I already see my doctor regularly. Do I need this?

  Think of a HouseCalls visit as an extra layer of care, where you get valuable one-on-one time you don’t always get in office visits.

• Is there an alternative to having a HouseCalls visit in person?

  Yes, there is. Video visits from UnitedHealthcare HouseCalls use technology to connect you with a health care practitioner for up to a full hour to review your health history and current medications, discuss important health screenings, identify health risks and provide health education.
