Calm health

Caring for your mental wellness may be as easy as picking up your phone. As a UnitedHealthcare® plan member, you can use the Calm Health app, at no cost to you, for programs and tools to better support your mental health.

Use the Calm Health app to:

  • Learn techniques to help you feel better and manage stress
  • Try Sleep Stories, meditation, music and other sounds
  • Build healthy habits by tracking your progress
  • Access digital mental health programs
  • Find mental health care providers and benefits

Support designed to fit you

Getting started with the app is as easy as answering a few questions:

  1. Take a quick mental health screening based on how you are feeling. The questions are based on the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) and General Anxiety Disorder screening (GAD-7), which are effective, clinically valid, industry-standard screenings for mental health.
  2. Based on the screening and the input you provide about how you’re feeling, you’ll be given a personalized plan to support your condition and mental health needs.
  3. Follow your personal program and see how your mental health changes over time.
